Torca Homes Ltd have received planning approval from An Bord Pleanála for the construction 88 homes at a site, on former chanel college lands, main street, coolock, dublin 5
The development, which is estimated at €26m, will feature 88 apartments in two blocks ranging 5 to 6 storeys in height.
The Coolock scheme will comprise of a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bed units with associated private open spaces.
A total of 83 car spaces and a number of bicycle storage spaces are also outlined in the planning documents.
The site area, which is 0.87 hectares is located 7km from Dublin’s central business district. The scheme is also designed to cater for the surge of workers that are employed by the nearby Cadbury Ireland chocolate factory and Tayto Crisps factory.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau liaised Ferreira Architecture to produce 3D planning solutions for this project. 3D Design Bureau constructed verified view montages which were submitted as part of the planning application to An Bord Pleanála.
Coolock property surge
There will be a further 471 built-to-rent apartments constructed on the former Chivers jam factory site in Coolock.
An Bord Pleanála have recently granted planning permission to London-based developer, Platinum Land to build the €108m residential scheme.
