3D Design Bureau

New Residential Development Approved for Corballis East, Donabate.

Plans have been granted for the construction of 1,323 new homes located at Corballis East, Donabate, North Dublin. The scheme was lodged by Aledo Donabate Limited, a company owned by the directors of Cannon Kirk, a Dublin-based homebuilder firm.

The scheme was lodged directly to An Bord Pleanála under the state’s previous fast-track housing scheme.

The approved development comprises both apartments and houses with the apartments arranged in 16 apartment buildings. The houses, duplexes and apartments will accommodate one, two, and three- bedroom homes. A portion of these residential units to be dedicated to sheltered housing.

The Donabate development will provide 3 childcare facilities with a capacity for almost 300 children. In addition to these facilities, retail units will be constructed on-site. A series of public parks, open spaces, pocket parks, and communal open spaces will be dotted throughout the 43-hectare site. This will include the provision of a “Nature Park” which will provide 13 hectares of natural amenity areas and cycle and pedestrian connections within the site and to the wider area, including to Donabate Train station, the proposed Broadmeadow Greenway and Newbridge Demesne.

CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, liaised with the development team to provide both 3D planning and 3D marketing solutions. 3D Design Bureau produced verified view montages and architectural CGIs which were submitted as part of the planning application to An Bord Pleanála. The 3D visualisations are now being used for marketing purposes with national media covering the project.
