Irish property and investment group Tetrarch Capital has launched the Moxy Hotel, a 158-room hotel on Sackville Place, which is situated close to O’Connell Street in the heart of Dublin City.

Located behind the former Clery’s department store, the new 7-storey Moxy Hotel involved the refurbishment of the original 1970’s 4-storey office block to create a new boutique hotel.

Accommodation includes 158 rooms, over a ground floor reception, bar and restaurant and an adjacent separate retail/restaurant/cafe unit.

The new structure extended the existing building vertically to six floors with an additional set-back penthouse level.

This is Marriott International’s first Moxy hotel in Ireland and will be operated by Interstate Europe Hotels & Resorts.

This is the fifth hotel to open their doors in Dublin in 2019 bringing the city’s room count to just under 23,000 bedrooms resulting in a 5% increase from 2018.

CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau liaised with MCA Architects to construct a series of architectural visualisation images of the Moxy Hotel. 3D Design Bureau produced interior CGIs which were used for both marketing and to inform early interior design decisions.
