Ravela limited have submitted a strategic housing application to An Bord Pleanála for the construction of 450 units in Newtown on Marsh Road & McGrath’s Lane Terrace, Drogheda.
The development which has an estimated worth of €49m will consist of 81 houses and 369 apartments spanning over a 9.68 hectare site.
Cairn Homes have received planning permission under fast track planning for the construction of 426 homes in Greystones, Co. Wicklow.
The scheme ‘Farrankelly’ will comprising 245 houses, 93 apartments and 88 duplex units within an overall site of 52 acres.
Cairn homes will also be constructing a two-storey creche and residential amenity building which includes a resident’s room, gym and management facilities.
The Greystones development will feature over 11 acres of active open space which will include a sports pitch as well as a tennis court and an all-weather multi-use pitch, a children’s play area and an informal kick-about area. In addition there will be 10 acres of open space incorporating a 650 metre pedestrian and cycle route greenway located along the northern boundary and separately running and training areas.
There will be a total of 762 car and 225 bicycle spaces available.
Considered the best of both worlds with DART, train, bus, or road reach of the capital and by the seaside, Greystones has been in major demand by home-seekers over the past 10 years.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau liaised closely with Cairn Homes to construct a series architectural visualisation images which were submitted as part of the planning application to An Bord Pleanála. 3D Design Bureau produced architectural CGIs which are being used for marketing purposes.
