Lanber Office
This is a commercial development, located in Fellbach, Germany. We were originally appointed to work on this project back in 2021, to produce a set of interior CGIs to support the scheme’s marketing campaign and help attract potential tenants. The visuals played a key role in illustrating the internal finishes and potential layout configurations of the space, even while it remained unfurnished, making them suitable for online listings, brochures, and other marketing collateral.
In 2024, our visualisation team revisited this project to test and refine new creative workflows, with a particular focus on integrating AI tools into our image production process. The original 3D layout was retained, but many interior elements were updated or redesigned, giving us more creative freedom. For example, the kitchen area was not included in the original scheme, so we introduced bespoke interior design features to reimagine the space in line with contemporary commercial trends.
As for the AI testing, one of the key experiments involved enhancing the population in the scene. We began with standard 3D people placements, later refining them in Photoshop and using artificial intelligence to elevate their realism. While the results were impressive, AI’s unpredictability and inconsistency made reaching the desired outcome more time-consuming.
We also used AI to generate the exterior background visible through the windows. Our goal was to accurately represent the current built surroundings of the real site. By researching the completed development and feeding photo references along with precise descriptions into our AI prompts, we were able to generate a realistic and contextually accurate result that reflects the site’s current built environment.
