St Joseph’s College, Coalisland
For over 50 years, St Joseph’s College has been serving the Coalisland community and surrounding areas as a Catholic school. It has embraced technology at its core, with all staff certified as Apple Teachers and one Apple Distinguished Educator among them. Additionally, St Joseph’s College has been recognised as an Apple Regional Training Centre, reflecting its commitment to integrating technology into the classroom to benefit both educators and students.
As a technology-driven school, they approached us to create a Matterport virtual tour of their facilities, enabling students, parents, and visitors to explore the school’s premises remotely. This digital experience complements St Joseph’s College’s website and marketing materials, reinforcing their commitment to innovation.
A key feature of this Matterport virtual tour was the use of Mattertags, but what made this project unique was the school’s decision to embed videos within each Mattertag. These videos guide guests through the campus, highlighting important features and showcasing the school’s character in a more immersive way.
With over 750 scans, the final result is a comprehensive virtual tour, capturing both interior and exterior spaces, and effectively showcasing the best aspects of St Joseph’s College.
