The Parlour Room Bar and Grill
Combining the intimate character of a traditional Dublin pub with the confident style of a modern Manhattan whiskey bar, The Parlour Room is a unique hospitality experience in the heart of New York City. Designed by Dublin-based O’Donnell O’Neill Design, the project required a solution that would assist the design team in envisioning its unique atmosphere before construction commenced in its W 36th Street location.
To assist with bringing this to life, 3D Design Bureau were appointed to produce two photorealistic interior CGIs of the space. These visuals provided the design team with a detailed, pre-fit-out representation of the space, enabling them to finalise key design elements and ensure the intended atmosphere was captured correctly.
Our renders allowed for a thorough exploration of the rich material palette and lighting strategy, ensuring that the warm, dark tones, vintage styling, and intimate seating arrangements would deliver a balance of cosiness and elegance for this 180-seat venue.
As with similar projects, attention to detail was essential. Our visualisation team focused not only on lighting, as mentioned earlier, but also on carefully composing the scene with authentic elements such as vintage artwork, classic style lamps, and other features typical of a traditional Irish pub. This approach resulted in a representation that strongly reflects the finished space. Take a look at some photos of the now-open venue below.
