Vero Beach Mansion
Located along Florida’s Atlantic Coast, this luxury residence, valued at $21,723,500, features eight bedrooms, thirteen bathrooms, and a range of high-end amenities, including an infinity pool, a summer kitchen, and garage space for five vehicles.
3D Design Bureau were first involved in this project in 2010, when we were commissioned by Yra Design Inc. to produce two architectural CGIs showcasing the front and rear of the mansion. These visuals played a key role in assisting the property owner, who was facing challenges in making decisions about architectural elements and selecting material finishes.
At the time, the CGIs were already impressive for their level of detail. By modelling the entire house, our team was able to accurately visualise the two defined viewpoints, helping the client make informed design decisions.
More than a decade later, we revisited the project to update these visuals using the advanced tools and techniques available today. By refining the 3D model, upgrading textures, and paying closer attention to lighting, we produced a set of images that truly capture the quality and standard of this luxurious home. In addition to revisiting the project, our team also used this as an opportunity to test AI tools in architectural visualisation. We used Runway Gen-2 to transform still images into short videos. While the results are promising, achieving a good outcome can be challenging.
We’ve found that the tool performs best with subtle camera movements, and when applied to natural elements such as vegetation and sky. However, when applied to characters within the scene and when using more dynamic camera movements, the results tend to be less consistent and often negative.
