Work continues on Wicker Walk, a new phase of the wider Seven Mills, Dublin’s newest town. This phase provides for a major mixed-use scheme comprising 660 homes, including houses, duplexes and apartments, together with a crèche, community floorspace and extensive public open space.
Wicker Walk forms part of Seven Mills, in Dublin 22, where construction is already well underway. The town currently supports over 1,100 people working on site and is already home to more than 4,000 residents.
For this phase, 3D Design Bureau produced architectural CGIs and verified view montages to help communicate the scheme clearly through planning. Our involvement in Seven Mills extends across multiple phases, supporting the wider vision for this growing town as new homes, amenities and public spaces continue to come forward.
The underway scheme will bring a mix of houses, duplexes and apartments into a connected neighbourhood close to green space, the Grand Canal and wider transport links.
The approved plans for this phase include 264 houses, 68 duplexes and 328 apartments, along with a crèche and a local node by the new Cluainte Park South. The wider scheme also provides over 11,000 sq m of public open space, including part of Grand Canal Park, a local park and pocket parks, alongside play areas, landscaping and pedestrian and cycle routes.
The homes at Wicker Walk have been designed with energy efficiency in mind, alongside flexible layouts, strong levels of natural light and generous storage. Their specification is intended to support lower day-to-day running costs, and many will be eligible for Help to Buy and the First Home Scheme. More information on Wicker Walk is available on the Seven Mills website. Read more at wickerwalk.ie
