Irish developers, Ardstone Homes have received planning permission for the construction of ‘Two Oaks’, a 590-home development on Scholarstown Road, Knocklyon, Dublin 16.
Construction is well underway for a major residential development on the site of former Taoiseach, Liam Cosgrave’s previous residence.
The main contractors, Walls Construction, are expected to finish works in the Summer of 2023 with a total of 30 months on site.
The Dublin 16 scheme ‘Two Oaks’ is estimated at €129m and consists of 480 build-to-rent apartments and a further 110 build-to-sell duplexes.
The build-to-rent units will comprise a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments spanning over eight blocks and up to 6-storeys in height. The build-to-sell units will encompass a mix of two- and three-bedroom apartments spread across 9 blocks and 3-storeys in height.
The Knocklyon development will also include a gym, creche, and retail units on the ground floors. The 5.4-hectare site will also include large provisions of open greens and play areas.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, liaised with the development team to construct a series of 3D planning and 3D marketing solutions. 3D Design Bureau produced architectural CGIs, aerial CGIs and verified view montages which were submitted as part of the planning application to An Bord Pleanála.
3D Design Bureau also created several Matterport Virtual Tours showcasing the different unit types and offering potential tenants & buyers a full 360 virtual tour experience which will drastically enhance the marketing of the properties on offer.
