Brand new for 2020, Global Student Accommodation launched Dominick Place, a home for 320 students. The scheme offers en suite bedrooms and studios aimed at students attending DCU, DIT, Trinity College and RCS.
Located on Dominick Street Upper, the Dublin 7 development comprises of 247 bed spaces in 50 clusters and 16 studios within a 6 storey block.
The scheme includes an outdoor amenity area to the rear of the building and a roof top terrace on the Eastern wing.
Students can avail of facilities such as cafe’s music rooms, games rooms as well as the social and study rooms.
Reddy Architecture designed Dominick Place to reinstate the historical building in line with the wider Georgian district
The building is a reinforced concrete frame utilizing blade columns and flat slab construction. The basement level was formed with the use of a secant pile wall and reinforced concrete retaining wall structure. The building is supported on piled foundations.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, liaised with Reddy Architecture to produce a series of interior CGIs, an off-plans 360 virtual tour in the pre-development stage and architectural photography of the finished build of Dominick Place.
