A Look Inside the Upcoming Mill Street Student Accommodation:

A new Mixed-use development is currently under construction on Mill Street, Dublin 8. Once completed, the scheme is expected to provide over 400 bedrooms of professionally managed student housing in addition to a residential Build-to-Rent complex with a dedicated retail space.

The Student Accommodation included in the scheme will offer 235 beds contained in either studio units or three, four, six, and eight-bedroom units. A reception and management suite will be provided, and students will have access to a variety of social and recreational spaces.

The 37 Build-to-Rent apartments will offer a mixture of studios, one and two-bedroom apartments. Balconies will be included for Western and Eastern apartments and a roof garden will be installed on the fifth floor.

A retail unit that includes a café will also be constructed alongside the residential complex facing Mill Street.

The site is home to Mill Street House which is the last ‘Dutch Billy’ style building of its kind. To avoid the loss of the iconic building in this new development, the Creedon Group are renovating the structure and restoring its original character. This will become the focal point of Mill Street and will add to the overall regeneration of the Liberties.

CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, collaborated with the development team to produce a series of architectural CGIs and interior CGIs as part of their 3D Marketing solutions. A high level of accurate detail was included in the CGIs through close communication and collaboration with both the client and their design team.
