Tipperary County Council has granted planning permission with conditions for a new 122-unit residential development on Coleville Road, Clonmel. Developed by Torca Homes, the approved scheme includes amendments to a previously approved application, initially greenlit by An Bord Pleanála in 2021.

Malincross Limited and Dean Swift Properties received planning permission with conditions from An Bord Pleanála for the construction of a significant residential development located south of Flemington Lane in Balbriggan.
3D Design Bureau played an essential role as a consultant for this project, collaborating closely with the design team. Our contributions included producing technical 3D images and a comprehensive daylight and sunlight assessment report for planning purposes.
The visuals, consisting of architectural computer-generated images and verified view montages, provided the local authority with a realistic representation of the future development. The daylight and sunlight report demonstrated that, despite the project’s size and complexity, the development performed very favourably from both a daylight and sunlight perspective.
The approved project will feature 564 residential units, including 378 houses in two- to four-bedroom configurations, 84 duplex units with one to three bedrooms, and 102 apartments with one to two bedrooms across 10 apartment blocks ranging from three to five storeys.
Approved plans also include two childcare facilities, which will benefit future resident families. This scheme is divided into five key character areas:
• Hampton Park South: 103 units, including houses, duplexes, and apartments.
• Hampton Park Central: 142 units with a mix of houses, duplexes, apartments, and a two-storey childcare facility.
• Tanner’s Lane: 54 units, including houses, duplexes, and apartments.
• Hampton Park North: 128 units with houses, duplexes, apartments, and a two-storey childcare facility.
• Flemington Park: 137 units, consisting of houses, duplexes, apartments, and a two-storey childcare facility.
The development in Flemington Lane will feature public open spaces, as well as commercial and communal areas. In total, nine commercial units and six communal spaces will be situated on the ground floors of the various apartment blocks.
