Kildare County Council has granted planning permission for a new large-scale residential development (LRD) in Kilcock, Co. Kildare. The approved scheme, located at Branganstown East, will deliver over 130 new homes as part of a planned, multi-phase neighbourhood.
3D Design Bureau was appointed to provide architectural CGIs, verified view montages, and a comprehensive daylight and sunlight assessment with an accompanying shadow study. The results showed that all proposed units achieved excellent levels of daylight and sunlight, with no adverse effects on neighbouring properties or gardens.
The development will feature a diverse mix of house types, including maisonettes, duplexes, bungalows, and two- to four-bedroom houses. A total of +140 car parking spaces and +60 bicycle spaces are also included within the approved plans.
Public open spaces will extend to over 4,500 sq/mts across three landscaped areas, including an extension to the existing green space at Ledwill Park. A centrally located communal space of +400 sq. m will provide additional amenities for future residents.

Zone of Theoretical Visibility: Reducing Risk and Cost in Property Development
