Irish developers, MKN Property Group have received the green light from An Bord Pleanála for the construction of 324 apartments in Santry.
Approved under fast-track planning, ‘Omni Living’ will be located northeast of Omni Park Shopping Centre on the Swords Road.
The 324 apartments will be spread across 3 housing blocks, ranging in height from 5 to 12 storeys. The apartments will comprise of a mix of 1- and 2-bed homes and studios with associated private balconies/terraces.
The Santry development will include an 81-bed aparthotel in block C. The scheme will also include amenities such as a retail unit, a gym, a co-working space, a media room, a conference room and a creche.
Large portions of the scheme will be allocated to public open spaces that will include open greens, play areas and courtyards. A total of 162 car spaces and 340 bicycle storage spaces are also outlined in the plans.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, liaised with the development team to construct a series of 3D planning and 3D marketing solutions. 3D Design Bureau produced verified view montages, architectural CGIs and a BRE daylight & sunlight assessment which were submitted as part of the planning application to An Bord Pleanála. The visuals are now being used for marketing purposes with national media covering the project.
