Over 200 homes planned for Bray.

1 Southern Cross Lands Ltd. have submitted a strategic housing development application to An Bord Pleanála at Southern Cross Road, Bray.

The development will consist of 208 residential units with a mix of two, three and four bed houses and apartments.

1 Southern Cross Lands was also granted planning permission in March for a supermarket on the lands. An appeal made by Bray Retailers Group was subsequently withdrawn.

The application also includes a neighbourhood centre which will be adjacent to the planned supermarket. The centre will include three retail units, a creche, and four community units including a youth services centre and a health care unit.

All the residential units will have associated private open space, balconies or terraces.

The Bray development will also feature a provision of landscaping and open play spaces.

The site is bounded to the south by the Southern Cross Road, to the west by Ard na Greine and Heatherwood and to the north by Mountainview Drive, with vacant lands to the east.

BKD Architects liaised with CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, to build a series of architectural visualisation images for both planning and marketing purposes. 3D Design Bureau produced both verified view montages and architectural CGIs which were submitted as part of the planning application to An Bord Pleanála.
