The Comer Homes Group, promoter of The Sentinel, a strategic housing development (SHD) that received permission for the construction of 428 apartments in 2019, has submitted a revised application for an extension to the scheme that includes an additional 102 units. If approved, this would increase the total number of residential units to 530.

Plans to construct a new apartment development on Kimmage Road West that aligns with the Dublin City Development Plan have been approved by An Bord Pleanála. Designed by BKD Architects, the approved development is said to align with Dublin City Development Plan 2016-2022 objectives.
