Brand new for January 2020, Highfield Park is a 402-bed student accommodation located at 274 North Circular Road, Dublin 7. The campus is aimed to cater for students of Trinity College and TUD’s Grangegorman Campus.
Summix WSC have received planning permission from An Bord Pleanála to build a 368 student bed strategic housing development in Dublin’s Liberties.
The ‘Ardee Point’ student accommodation will range from two to eight storeys and feature amenities such as a gym and cinema.
The student complex will be located at the Brewery Block site bounded by St Luke’s Avenue, Brabazon Place/Row and Ardee Street at Dublin’s Liberties.
The developers have stated that following the UK’s Brexit decision it is anticipated that Ireland, and in particularly Dublin, Cork and Galway, will benefit from more international students.
Planning permission had already in place for 349 student beds at the site. The new application supersedes those plans and is not in addition to the already granted 349 beds.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau liaised with Henry J Lyons Architects to construct a series of verified view montages which were submitted as part of the planning application to An Bord Pleanála.
