Cairn is expected to deliver the first of the Citywest Quarter apartment blocks in the fourth quarter of 2020, with final delivery expected by the end of the third quarter in 2021.

Greenacre Residential DAC have received the green light from An Bord Pleanála to construct 488 apartments in Fortunestown Lane, Saggart.
Approved under the ‘fast track’ planning system, the estimated €107m scheme will include a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bed apartments spanning over 9 storeys in 5 separate blocks.
Large portions of the 4.2 hectare site will comprise of landscaped courtyards and communal amenity spaces and private amenity spaces comprising of terraces and balconies.
Facilities such as a landscaped local square located to the north of Saggart Luas Stop have also been approved. The facilities will include a creche, community space, retail commercial floorspace and a café or restaurant.
The Saggart scheme will have a total of 418 car spaces and 706 cycle parking spaces.
The developing suburb of Citywest has been subject to large residential and commercial expansion in recent years with over 1,200 new homes in pre-planning and construction phases.
A strategic housing development was recently approved by An Bord Pleanála for the construction of 290 homes beside Citywest Shopping centre. Cairn Homes’ are due to complete construction on their 459 SHD located at Cooldown Commons and Fortunestown by the end of 2021.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau worked closely with the development teams on all 3 Citywest schemes to construct a series of architectural visualisation images and BRE daylight analysis reports. For this project, 3D Design Bureau produced architectural CGIs, verified view montages and BRE daylight analysis assessment which were used for both planning and marketing purposes.
