Construction is set to start soon on a significant new residential development in the southeast region of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown. The estimated €76m Druids Glen project, promoted by Tudor Homes Limited, was granted planning permission in January 2020.

The approved scheme will deliver 342 new residential dwellings, consisting of a diverse mix of housing options, including 189 apartments, 28 duplexes, and 60 triplexes, available in a range of configurations. Moreover, the scheme is rounded off with 65 houses, offering two, three, and four-bedroom options.

Residents of the development will enjoy a host of comprehensive amenities designed to cater to both families and professionals. These include ample public open spaces, dedicated parking spaces for cars and bicycles, and a childcare facility, all contributing to an exceptional living experience.

Benefiting from great connectivity, the Druids Glen development is adjacent to the Luas green line and several Dublin Bus routes, ensuring seamless regional access. Furthermore, the strategic location provides direct access to both the N11 and M50, enabling good transportation to the city centre and beyond.

“Despite the various legal challenges, this scheme will bring high-quality homes, enriching Cherrywood’s local community with high-standard living. Through the top-tier verified view montages and computer-generated images provided by 3D Design Bureau, we successfully secured planning permission and site development should commence shortly,”

– says David Browne, from Tudor Homes.
