Rathborne Crossing
This is a new residential development at the heart of Rathborne Village, comprising a mix of two-bedroom duplexes and three-bedroom apartments and duplex homes. Located just 300 metres from Ashtown Train Station, the scheme also benefits from excellent connections to Dublin City Centre and the wider area.
Following a positive experience supporting the marketing of other Castlethorn developments, 3D Design Bureau was once again appointed to produce a suite of visuals to help showcase Rathborne Crossing while it was still under construction and support off-plan sales.
A key part of our scope on this project was the production of interactive off-plan virtual tours for two unit types: the three-bedroom duplexes and the three-bedroom apartments available within the scheme. As with other virtual tours we create, aerial views played an important role in helping users understand the development’s setting, including its close proximity to Ashtown Train Station and other nearby amenities.
One particularly important aspect of this project was the background photography. Our drone pilot captured images from the same height as the proposed courtyard level, allowing us to accurately represent the real-life views from that point. This adds another layer of realism to the tour experience, helping potential buyers better understand how the scheme will sit within its surroundings.
Another interesting aspect of the project was our collaboration with IKEA, which allowed us to incorporate furniture from the brand directly into the visuals. This means the furniture shown throughout the tours reflects real, recognisable products, helping to create interiors that feel both aspirational and achievable.
To further complement the marketing suite, we also produced architectural CGIs, with particular focus on the open spaces and communal areas that will form part of the development. These visuals help communicate not just the homes themselves, but also the wider living environment future residents can expect.
As an added bonus, we also delivered architectural animation content in both landscape and vertical reel-style formats. Using newly adopted rendering technology, our team produced social-ready video material tailored for the platforms where buyers are increasingly active, without compromising on resolution or visual quality.
Together, these solutions form a comprehensive marketing package for Rathborne Crossing, helping Castlethorn showcase the homes, amenities, and wider setting of the development while supporting the off-plan sales process.
