Retail Unit, Cork Street

Retail Unit, Cork Street

Located within Liberties House on Cork Street in Dublin 8, this ground-floor retail unit is being marketed for café or restaurant use. With its prominent glazed frontage and location in the heart of the Liberties, the space offers an attractive opportunity for a new business.

3D Design Bureau was appointed to produce two interior CGIs to support the marketing of the unit. Working from a floor plan and photographs of the existing space, our team developed visuals showing how the property could look when fitted out as a café or restaurant. These images were intended for use in the property’s marketing brochure, helping prospective tenants envision the possibilities of the space.

To bring the interiors to life, we populated the scenes with people, creating the atmosphere of a busy café or restaurant. An interesting aspect of this project was the opportunity to test new AI-based workflows to improve the realism of these figures. The results were particularly positive when refining details such as skin textures and clothing fabrics, helping the people blend more naturally into the scenes.

Lighting was another important consideration. With natural daylight coming through the glazing, alongside artificial lighting and illuminated lettering, our team had to carefully balance the different light sources. Particular attention was given to reflections and light direction to ensure the finished images looked as realistic as possible.

Although relatively straightforward in scope, this project was a good opportunity to explore new visualisation techniques while producing high-quality marketing material.
