An Bord Pleanala have received a planning application for the construction of a 7-storey development predominantly dedicated to Student Accommodation in Galway. The proposed development would replace the 100 estimated car parking spaces currently existing on this site.
Irish Life Assurance PLC have secured a 10-year permission for the construction of an office extension for the buildings at Ballsbridge Park in Dublin 4.
The proposed plans outline the construction of lateral and vertical extensions to the east and west of the buildings. Once complete, the overall office floor area will increase from 19,696 sq.m to 42,602 sqm.
The facade of each office building will undergo a facelift and the interior will be redesigned. Furthermore, developers plan to reduce the existing car park by 27 spaces to pave the way for the provision of 408 cycle spaces.
Ballsbridge is widely recognised as one of Dublin’s Prime Business Districts. The prestigious location is already home to several prominent occupiers including US Embassy, AIB Bank Centre, Regus, Zurich, ION Trading Ireland, Irish Distillers and Kavanagh Fennell.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, worked closely with the development team to produce architectural CGIs and interior CGIs as part of the planning application submitted to Dublin City Council.
