Landscape Architect / LVIA Specialist

Role Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our growing team as we expand our scope of services to include landscape design. This new service is a natural fit with the solutions we already provide and will help streamline project delivery for our clients by working alongside our talented team.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our skilled and experienced team, primarily focusing on Landscape Design and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) projects for property developments. This role operates in a dynamic environment, requiring knowledge and exposure to the AEC sector. The position offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement, allowing you to grow while leading this new area of the business as our company continues to expand.

Required Skillset and Experience

• Recognised degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• Fluent in oral, aural and written English.
• 2-3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
• Skilled in AutoCAD (Revit is an advantage).
• Possession of a full Irish or UK driving licence is an advantage.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and QGIS.
• Understanding of the Planning System in Ireland and the UK is a prerequisite.
• Prior experience in the AEC industry, working as part of design teams, is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail and good presentation skills.

Day-to-Day Tasks

• Landscape architectural design
• Production of all relevant drawings and details.
• Collaborate and liaise with third-party consultants and design team members, including other landscape architects.
• Contribute to design statements and presentations.
• Coordinate directly with our Project Manager throughout projects.
• Preparation of LVIA/TVIA reports.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Communicate effectively with in-house team members to ensure smooth project workflows.
