Doors open – Scotch House, Dublin City Centre

M.F. Property have recently opened the doors to Scotch House, an iconic office development on Burgh Quay, Dublin 2.

Scotch House features 3,700 sq m of Grade A office accommodation spanning over 7 storeys.

The Scotch House site, located on the Liffey Quays is within walking distance of Grafton Street, O’Connell bridge and all of Dublin City centre’s transport links.

The facade has been designed to respect its prominent location and provide a considered well-mannered composition, sympathetic to the existing architectural diversity of the Liffey quays, while clearly a building of its time.

The new composition will be an elegant contemporary stone framed building with floor to ceiling glazing to the office floors. The stone articulates plot widths and provides strength to the parapet line and legibility to the ground level. Deep reveals to the stone frame provide solidity and integration to the façade.

The stone frame terminates at the fourth floor parapet level allowing the two tiered penthouse to be distinct as a lighter, more transparent element.

Scotch House also features a 177 sq m roof-top terrace with views of Dublin City.

CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, liaised with architects, Lafferty Design & Development to construct a series of architectural CGIs, presentation photomontages, interior CGIs and verified view montages which were used for both planning and marketing purposes.
