Plans have been lodged for the construction of 115 new homes located at Coleville Road, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
An Bord Pleanála has granted planning permission for the construction of a 112-unit apartment complex on a site southwest of Beach Road and south of Church Avenue in Irishtown, Dublin 4. The scheme, designed by John Fleming Architects, was lodged by Maxol Property Ltd.
Sections of the 0.39-hectare site include the former Michael Grant car dealership and are occupied by a Maxol garage and Mace store.
The €50 million scheme will comprise 112 build-to-sell units and will be contained within a single six-storey block. It features one-bed units and two-bed units. The development will also include communal space areas comprising a gym, a resident lounge, a co-working space, and a cinema room. The scheme will also have provisions for car parking, motorcycle parking, and cycle parking spaces.
The appeals board granted planning after ruling that the 56 one-bedroom and 56 two-bedroom scheme would constitute an acceptable residential density at the location and would not seriously injure the residential or visual amenities of the area.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, liaised with the development team to provide both 3D planning and 3D marketing solutions. 3D Design Bureau produced a total of 17 verified view montages, 2 presentation photomontages, and 2 interior CGIs which were submitted as part of the planning application to An Bord Pleanála. The 3D visualisations are now being used for marketing purposes with national media covering the project.
