Irish developers, Cairn Homes are currently constructing their newest urban neighbourhood ‘Mercer Vale” located in Cherrywood, South Dublin.
The 296-unit development comprises 112 houses and 184 apartments. The house is made up of 50 three-bed units and 62 four-bed units that will range from two- to three-storeys in height. The apartments comprise 14 one-bed units, 38 two-bed units, 70 three-bed units, and 62 four-bed units. They will be arranged in 12 two- to three-storey duplex buildings and a single four-storey apartment block.
Large sections of the 5-hectare site will be allocated for public and open space. The plans outline the provision of play areas and open greens. The plans outline a total of 157 car parking spaces and a number of bicycle spaces.
The Cherrywood development will be serviced by transfer links to Dublin city via a nearby Luas stop and bus routes. The scheme is located within close proximity to the N11 and the M50.
