ish developers, Double E investments have been granted planning permission for the construction of a mixed-use development at Kestrel House, Walkinstown Road, Dublin 12.
Permission has been granted for the construction of residential apartment units on 13-15 Rockhill in Blackrock, County Dublin. The construction of the new scheme will involve the demolition of the existing two-storey building and its associated structures.
The approved development in Blackrock will be a 3-7 storey, mixed-use building that will incorporate both residential and commercial units . The plans granted include a total of 8 residential units that will all exist as two-bedroom apartments with their own private balcony space. Located on the seafront, residents will be able to enjoy the stretching views across the bay to Howth Head from their balcony.
To fully take advantage of the prime location, the development will incorporate a commercial unit within the new building. Nestled in the heart of Blackrock, the future commercial retailer will benefit from the footfall on one of Blackrock’s main streets.
Dun Laoghaire County Council have also approved the creation of a pedestrian route that will connect Rock Hill at the front of the development to the public car park and DART station at the back. With the DART station on the doorstep of the scheme, residents will be a short ride away from Dublin’s city centre.
The location of the development is perfect for both future residents and commercial retailers. With stunning views and surrounding local amenities, the new scheme will offer the perfect place to live and will bring a new commercial unit for the existing village locals to enjoy.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, liaised with the development team to provide 3D planning solutions. 3D Design Bureau produced verified view montages and a BRE Daylight and Sunlight Assessment which were submitted as part of the planning application to Dun-Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
