The Comer Homes Group, promoter of The Sentinel, a strategic housing development (SHD) that previously received permission for the construction of 428 apartments in 2019, has now secured planning for an expansion of the project. This incorporates an additional 110 residential units, resulting in a total of 538 residential units for the development.
The approved development, a landmark reminder of the Global Financial Crisis of 2008, is situated in Sandyford Business Park and will offer a diverse range of living options, including studio apartments, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.
In addition, The Sentinel will include a creche, retail units, and communal community facilities, such as a multi-purpose space, laundry, community co-working area, exercise area and more!
All apartments will be equipped with balconies and will provide residents with access to winter gardens, roof gardens, urban plazas, courtyards, and basement parking for cars and bicycles, already suited with EV charging points.
The Sentinel is located in the heart of Sandyford Business District, which is a vibrant and growing hub of activity. Its proximity to excellent transport links, such as the Luas, and an abundance of amenities, including restaurants, shops, and leisure facilities, make it a highly attractive location.
