Over the years, the advancements in computer-generated imagery have transformed it into an important tool for property developers, architects, interior designers, and estate agents allowing them to visualise and improve their projects long before actual construction begins.
Note: 3D Design Bureau is NOT an agent for the sale or letting of any properties within this development.
Plans for a new mixed-use development have been granted with conditions by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (DLRCC). Located on Enniskerry Road in Dublin 18, the scheme encompasses a combination of residential units, commercial spaces, and a childcare facility.
Let us help you secure planning!
‘Rockville’ will feature 83 residential units, comprising houses and duplex units. The residential options include one-, two-, and three-bedroom duplexes, alongside two-, three-, and four-bedroom houses, each designed with varying heights from 2 to 4 stories.
In addition to the residential aspect, the approved plans include a childcare facility and retail/commercial spaces, which are set to provide essential services and amenities to the local community.
The parking provisions include dedicated spaces for cars, with specific allocations for mobility-impaired individuals, electric vehicles, and family-friendly zones, in addition to motorcycle and bicycle parking facilities.
3D Design Bureau has played an important role, providing high-quality, detailed computer-generated images of the proposed development. These visuals were instrumental in assisting our client in securing planning permission and will also serve as valuable marketing assets in the future.
Kilternan – Glenamuck Local Area Plan (LAP) 2024
The ‘Rockville’ development is situated within the area influenced by the Kilternan – Glenamuck Local Area Plan 2024. This is a statutory planning document, prepared by the Local Authority in line with the Planning and Development Act 2000. It sets forth a comprehensive array of policies and objectives designed to steer the development of the area over 6 years, with a potential extension of up to 10 years if necessary.
The original Local Area Plan for Kilternan/Glenamuck was established in 2007 and subsequently revised in 2013. Currently expired, a new version of the LAP is being prepared, and is expected to be in place in 2024.
A Local Area Plan considers topics such as Climate Action, the development of a Sustainable Residential Community, initiatives for Sustainable Movement and Transport, fostering Social, Community, and Cultural connections, enhancing Parks and Recreation, and preserving Heritage and Conservation, among others.
