Plans have been submitted to Kildare County Council for the construction of an estimated €10.4m mixed-use development. This project is set to transform a site of approximately 0.5098 hectares, located at Corban’s Lane and Millbrook Villas Road, in Naas – Co. Kildare.

The proposed development is designed to include four distinct blocks, each rising to four storeys, and collectively housing 56 residential units along with 3 commercial spaces. This residential segment will offer a diverse array of living options, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, complemented by four semi-detached houses, each spanning three storeys and offering three bedrooms.
Landscape strategy proposals for Corban’s Lane development
The proposed plans encompass 32 car parking spaces, 140 cycle parking spaces, open spaces, landscaping, boundary treatments, and plant areas, all integrated within the site’s design.
Integral to the project are significant enhancements to the existing neighbourhood infrastructure. This includes the closure of the current site access to Corban’s Lane, removal of on-street parking, and extensive street upgrades with the addition of a new cycleway. The development introduces both vehicular and pedestrian/cyclist access points via Corban’s Lane, enriching connectivity in the area.
3D Design Bureau produced a full set of 3D planning solutions for this project, which included architectural CGIs, verified view montages, and a daylight and sunlight assessment. These elements are an essential part of the planning application provided to Kildare County Council, as they assist local authorities in understanding the proposed development’s impact on the surrounding environment.
This project by Whistlebrook Limited will highly benefit the Naas community, blending residential comfort with commercial convenience, and enhancing the urban fabric with modern infrastructure and sustainable transport solutions.
