Kildare County Council has approved plans for an expansive residential project by Debussy Properties Limited, located at the intersection of Millicent Road and Prosperous Road in Clane, Co. Kildare. This scheme is set to introduce a diverse range of housing options complemented by high-quality amenities and a crèche facility.
Note: 3D Design Bureau is NOT an agent for the sale or letting of any properties within this development.
Wicklow County Council recently approved the construction of a four-storey Innovation Centre for Renewable Energy businesses in the Blue-Green Sustainable energy space, designed to foster creativity and progress in the heart of Wicklow Town. Encompassing a gross internal area of 2248.50 sq., this stand-alone building is poised to become a hub for innovation and collaboration.
3D Design Bureau collaborated in this project by conducting a Daylight and Sunlight Assessment of the approved scheme. The scope of work included performing an impact assessment according to the BRE Guidelines, which evaluated potential adverse effects on the daylight and sunlight received by neighbouring properties. This involved analysing metrics such as Vertical Sky Component (VSC) and Sun On Ground in Existing Gardens/Amenity Areas (SOG), as well as creating shadow study diagrams for the scheme.
Our detailed and accurate study significantly contributed to the planning application, helping our client achieve a favourable outcome within just four months of the submission.
The centre is planned to include a wide range of facilities catering to diverse needs. It will house modern office accommodations, a cafeteria, an exhibition space, comprehensive staff facilities, and various ancillary uses.
An external terrace located at the upper level, and an external rooftop plant area located above the core, add further to the scheme’s open space amenities.
Approved plans outline a covered cycle parking facility, as well as a new entrance from Murrough Road leading directly to a surface car park south of the building. This car park is designed to accommodate 12 cars. A loading bay area is also planned at the northeast corner of the site to facilitate the operation of the centre.
Works will involve the demolition of an existing warehouse structure, which will clear the site for the Innovation Centre.
