Ibis Abbey Road
Located at the junction of Abbey Road, Coronation Road, and Park Royal Road in London, this proposed 13-storey hotel was designed to feature 162 guestrooms with a coffee shop on the ground floor.
To support its planning application, 3D Design Bureau collaborated closely with the design team to produce five presentation photomontages. After aligning on the desired viewpoints and capturing baseline photos, our team accurately modelled and visualised the development. With final refinements in post-production, the photomontages provided a clear representation of how the project would look once completed.
A unique aspect of this project was the request to adapt one of the presentation photomontages into a nighttime visualisation of the proposed scheme. To achieve this, our team created an evening atmosphere, and slightly changed the vegetation around the shot, carefully aligning it with the client’s vision and proposed mood boards.
A presentation photomontage, like a verified view montage, integrates a 3D model of a proposed development into an existing environment, creating a realistic preview of the final scheme. While verified view montages focus on technical accuracy for planning approvals, presentation photomontages allow design teams to explore materials, textures, and architectural details, giving them the flexibility to refine the design well before planning or marketing stages.
