Thornhill Oaks, Mount Merrion
Located in Mount Merrion, this residential development contains a set of luxury 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments, as well as 3- and 4-bedroom family homes and 2- and 3-bedroom mews. Our involvement in this project began in 2021, when the client appointed us to create an off-plan virtual tour of the 2-bedroom apartment.
Our process began with the modelling team creating a detailed digital model of the apartment in Revit, accurately reflecting the unit’s design and dimensions. From there, our visualisation team further developed the model, adding architectural details, adjusting materials, and fine-tuning lighting to set the desired atmosphere. Once the visualisation phase was complete, our post-production team stepped in to add the final touches and assemble the interactive virtual tour, ensuring a high-quality, immersive experience that captured the essence of the space.
Due to the compact layout of the unit, we made slight adjustments to how certain doors appeared in the tour to enhance usability. In some cases, doors were shown open or closed depending on what allowed for better navigation and visibility. For example, we kept the bathroom door closed when viewed from the hallway to create a greater sense of space and improve the overall flow of the tour.

A few years later, after the apartment was completed, the client returned to us with a request to help market the penthouse unit. This time, they needed a cost-efficient staging solution, and virtual staging proved to be the perfect option.
Virtual staging involves digitally adding CGI furniture, lighting, fixtures, and decor into high-resolution photographs of the real, unfurnished space, transforming empty rooms into fully styled interiors at a fraction of the cost and time of traditional staging.
Working closely with the design team, we interpreted the client’s mood boards and material references to ensure the visuals reflected their design intent with an exceptional level of detail. This approach supported our client’s marketing efforts by delivering visuals that aligned with their vision and helped them attract homebuyers more quickly.
