An Bord Pleanala have recently received plans for the construction of a Strategic Housing Development in Tallaght, Dublin 24.
Rockface Development Limited has received permission to build a 13,604 square metre warehouse at Magna Business Park in west Dublin.
The new industrial development will reach a maximum height of 15.5 metres and will predominantly be dedicated to warehouse space. The remaining floor space will accommodate an ancillary office area and staff accommodation. Access to the building will be from Magna drive and car and bicycle parking will be available on-site for those who require access to the development.
Final construction works to the site will involve installing the relevant infrastructure including lighting, electrical substation and underground works.
Magna Business Park is one of Dublin’s premier industrial locations that is strategically located on Citywest Road and near the M50 and N7 motorway intersection. Those utilising the Business Park will therefore have quick access to the key routes to and from Dublin.
The past 18 months have seen a surge in the industrial and logistics market and this success is likely to continue due to the limited availability of these buildings. These benefits of the industry and the Park itself has lead Willy Norse of CBRE to believe that investors will be interested in properties within this area.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, were involved early in the design stage to produce 3D Planning solutions. 3D Design Bureau worked closely with the development team to produce verified view montages as part of the planning application submitted to the South Dublin County Council.
