Today’s topic will revolve around the current trends surrounding the interior design market in Ireland.
Thornhill Oaks is a prestigious new development comprising 54 homes located in Mount Merrion, Blackrock, South Dublin. The scheme is in one of Dublin’s most sought-after locations and is targeted towards the luxury market. Construction of the 39 apartments units of the scheme began in August 2020. The latest phase of construction, which began in October 2021, will see the development of the 15 family home units.
The 39 apartments and penthouses feature open-plan interiors, with two bedrooms measuring approximately 1,000 Sq. Ft and three bedrooms approximately 1,400 Sq. Ft
The scheme’s 15 houses comprise feature large private gardens and spacious interiors with 3-bed houses measuring 1,300 Sq. Ft and the exclusive collection of 4-bedroom homes including dimensions up to 1,776 Sq. Ft. The houses are expected to be launched in Spring/Summer of 2022.
The development is enclosed in a walled Sylvian setting, with plenty of mature trees visible from every house and apartment, the most striking being the protected 250-year-old evergreen oak that stands at the centre of the site.
This scheme, designed by McCrossan O’Rourke Manning Architects, is being developed by SFD Capital Designated Activity Company.
CGI consultants, 3D Design Bureau, liaised with the development team to provide 3D marketing solutions. 3D Design Bureau produced an interactive off-plans 360 virtual tour which was used to showcase the apartments to prospective buyers.
