An Bord Pleanála has granted conditional planning permission to Beakonshaw Hill Limited for the construction of a new large-scale residential scheme at Chapel Road, Delgany, encompassing 84 dwellings and a crèche on a 2.67-hectare site.
Kindlestown House is designed to feature 50 apartments, 26 houses, and 8 units within the refurbished existing structure and stable yard buildings. The residential units will be divided into a range of options, spanning from 1- to 4-bedroom configurations.
Named after a protected structure on the site, the project will involve restoration and refurbishment efforts. These works will include adding a first-floor conservatory and modifying the adjoining outbuildings, which comprise demolishing two sheds.
3D Design Bureau
Architectural computer-generated images and verified view montages, important elements of the successful planning application submitted to Wicklow County Council, were produced by 3D Design Bureau. Our involvement from the initial stages of the project, in collaboration with the design team, ensured that representations accurately reflected the proposed development’s design and context, from both a technical and creative standpoint.
How verified view montages contribute to successful planning applications
Sometimes referred to as ‘certified views’, these are crucial to any planning application. They are technical photomontages that accurately illustrate the visual impact of a proposed development on its surrounding environment. Creating these visual representations requires a thorough methodology, involving extensive work and collaboration with both the design team and surveyors.
Once completed and submitted as part of a planning application, these montages offer local authorities a precise and photorealistic perspective of the proposed scheme from various key locations looking towards the subject site. This assists in making well-informed decisions about the application outcome.
A common shortfall in many planning applications is the lack of comprehensive information. Verified view montages address this issue, contributing significantly to the strength and success of a planning application.
