BusConnects has secured approval for a number of planning applications to improve multiple corridors within Dublin city. The applications form part of the programme to enhance 16 key bus routes.

Mabestown Wood, a new housing development near Malahide Castle, is now on the market with works progressing on site. The scheme comprises two to three-storey houses in terraced and semi-detached arrangements, with a range of open spaces and a dedicated play area.
3D Design Bureau supported the project team all the way from planning through to sales. We were initially appointed to produce verified view montages and architectural CGIs for the planning submission, helping to communicate the proposal clearly and support the local authority’s decision-making process.
Following this stage, and after the client saw the quality of our visuals on a nearby project, we were appointed to develop marketing collateral for the scheme. Building on the existing site model, we updated the previous imagery, produced new aerial montages, and a full exterior off-plan tour to help showcase the scheme as it comes to market.
The underway scheme will provide for 52 homes in total, comprising seven two-bedroom houses, 31 three-bedroom houses, eight four-bedroom houses and six five-bedroom houses, alongside car and cycle parking, and a range of public amenity spaces.
Mabestown Wood also benefits from strong transport connections. Malahide’s DART service provides fast and frequent links between North Dublin, the city centre and the southside, while several Dublin Bus routes offer easy access to nearby areas and the wider city. For those travelling by car, the M1 and M50 are both just minutes away.
