The Lookout, a new 94-unit rental apartment scheme, is now available in Charleville on Harbour Road, Dalkey. The estimated €23 million development offers a mix of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units, each with private open spaces, car parking, and bicycle storage.
An Bord Pleanála have given the green light for ‘Hamilton Gardens’, a major residential and commercial development on the former CIE Lands on Carnlough Road, Cabra.
The North Dublin scheme will feature almost 500 news homes and a number of commercial units spread over 9 blocks and spanning up to 8-storeys.
The homes will be made up of 484 apartments and 1 house. The apartments will range from studios and 2- and 3-bed homes. The house will be a 3-bed, two-storey home and will front Carnough Road.
At the heart of the scheme, a neighbourhood centre will be constructed which will feature 3 retail/café/restaurant units, a supermarket with an off-license and a large gym. A creche facility will be constructed in the block adjacent to the neighbourhood centre.
The Hamilton Gardens will also feature a community centre including meeting rooms, postal storage centre and a reception.
Each home will have access to large public and communal open spaces and children’s play areas and private greens associated with each residential unit.
A total of 403 car spaces and 488 bicycle storage spaces are also outlined in the plans.
The Hamilton Gardens’ site area, which is 3.89 hectares is located 3km from Dublin’s central business district and is accessible by bus, train and cycle routes.
