Dublin City Council has granted planning permission for the conversion of an existing five-storey over-basement building on Dame Street and Eustace Street to hotel use. The approved scheme will provide a 43-room hotel, together with ground-floor retail and café space, through the change of use and refurbishment of the existing building and the addition of a new setback fifth-floor level.

Dublin City Council has granted planning permission with conditions for a large-scale residential development on the former factory site at Finglas Business Centre, Jamestown Road, in Finglas. The approved scheme provides for 298 apartments, alongside community, commercial and amenity uses, set across five blocks ranging from three to seven storeys.

Planning permission has been granted for Steeplefield Limited’s Greenvale development at the former Chadwicks Builders Merchant site off Greenhills Road. The scheme is now under appeal, with a decision expected in May. The permission relates to a major mixed-use redevelopment across four new blocks ranging from five to 12 storeys, providing 588 apartments.

The Land Development Agency (LDA) is set to submit a planning application for a new 285-unit residential scheme at The Gasworks on Dock Road, Limerick.
