Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council has granted planning permission with conditions for a new residential development on Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18. The approved scheme will deliver 80 new homes across duplexes and apartments within two blocks, ranging from three to six storeys in height.

Following an appeal, An Coimisiún Pleanála has upheld planning permission for a new residential development in the townland of Kinsaley, Malahide, Co. Dublin. The approved scheme comprises 83 two-storey houses, a two-storey childcare facility, and extensive open amenity spaces.

Fingal County Council has granted planning permission, subject to conditions, for a new 99-bedroom hotel alongside the refurbishment and extension of The Coachman’s Inn, off the R132 near Dublin Airport. The project will modernise the long-established venue into a contemporary hospitality destination while retaining its original character.

Construction is progressing on a new housing development along New Road in Donabate, Co. Dublin. The project, developed and designed by Fingal County Council, will deliver 175 housing units as part of an ongoing effort to provide high-quality, sustainable housing within the area.

Kildare County Council has granted planning permission for a new large-scale residential development (LRD) in Kilcock, Co. Kildare. The approved scheme, located at Branganstown East, will deliver over 130 new homes as part of a planned, multi-phase neighbourhood.

An Coimisiún Pleanála has granted approval for a major residential scheme in Rathnew, Co. Wicklow. The development, initially proposed for 352 units, has been revised to deliver 223 new homes, with part of the site omitted to protect a locally significant tree and to safeguard space for future active recreation.

With housing demand rising and urban density increasing, apartment developments have become central to urban planning strategies.
