Construction is now underway on Plovers Wood, a major 576-unit residential development located in Lissywollen, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Originally granted planning permission by An Coimisiún Pleanála in 2021 (at the time An Bord Pleanála), the €126 million project represents a joint venture between Alanna Homes, Roadbridge, and Westmeath County Council.

Plans have been submitted to Fingal County Council for a new large-scale residential development (LRD) located at Winterwood, Carpenterstown Road, Dublin 15. Spanning approximately 1.87 hectares, the development proposes a total of 175 residential units alongside a comprehensive suite of amenities and community facilities.

Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council has granted planning permission with conditions for a new residential development on Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18. The approved scheme will deliver 80 new homes across duplexes and apartments within two blocks, ranging from three to six storeys in height.

Following an appeal, An Coimisiún Pleanála has upheld planning permission for a new residential development in the townland of Kinsaley, Malahide, Co. Dublin. The approved scheme comprises 83 two-storey houses, a two-storey childcare facility, and extensive open amenity spaces.

Fingal County Council has granted planning permission, subject to conditions, for a new 99-bedroom hotel alongside the refurbishment and extension of The Coachman’s Inn, off the R132 near Dublin Airport. The project will modernise the long-established venue into a contemporary hospitality destination while retaining its original character.

Long before construction begins on-site, a great amount of work goes into preparing a project. Among the key elements of this preparation are architectural visualisations, which play an essential role during the planning stages and later help property developers and estate agents market units off-plan as construction progresses.
